Hello and welcome to the Shadow of the Dog Lord Role-Playing Game Development Forum. My name is Fenrir, the Dog Lord. A picture of me will appear to the left of all posts.
Let me first say thank you for being interested in this project. The goal of it was to take a story idea of mine and convert it into a full fledged role-playing game. Unlike most fantasy games however, elves, dwarves, halflings, orcs, or even humans do not appear at all in the game. Instead, the world is populated by dogs and other canids, which many refer to as "furries."
These half human/half canine creatures are at war with the vile and ruthless wolf known as Fenrir, who has claimed the title "Dog Lord." While the game does not have to take place in this time setting, many gamers will most likely use him as their villain. This necromantic cheater of death is out to dominate the world in shadow.
But that's just the beginning! The game's basic rules are far from complete, and that's what these forums are for, to create the rules and compile them into a book that will be sold hopefully by the summer.
