Well, are you going to begin to explain how the game works? What is already figured out? What details are still sketchy?

I don't know much about it, I'll contact Fenrir as it is his project and tell him that the forum is being used now!

Oh, lol. I thought that you and Fenrir were the same person for some reason. I guess I was wrong. ;D I contacted him too when I first made the account, he hasn't checked his messages since then, though. No hurry though...

If you contacted him on here he won't have seen it. I'll tell him on another site which he does go on!

I meant on another site, not this one. I had realized that contacting him on this site would be moot. (did I use that word correctly?)

First things first, this is in the wrong forum. This one is for forging rules for a miniature game (like the Warhammer 40K one you were watching today Gruble Guy) from the RPG rule, so...moved!
As for genreal rules, well, I'll begin. There are six (used to be four until two days ago) races to choose from: * Dog * Wolf * Fox * Coyote * Jackal * Dingo
Each race has bonuses and negatives to help or hider their Skill checks (see below).
The abilities are as follow: * Strength-how strong you are * Coordination-how coordinated/dexterous you are * Health-how much damage you can take * Intelligence-how smart you are * Magic-how well atuned you are to the divine will of the gods (there are nine) * Morale-how couragous you are
Not only do these six abilities affect the secondary abilites... * Hit Points * Mage Points (how many spells you can cast a day) * Defense * Melee Skill * Ranged Skill * Speed ...but they also confer dice modifiers to your Skills. The modifiers add or subtract the number of D6s you roll to see if your Skills succeed or fail.
Then come the Feats, which confer bonuses to your character, whether by increasing the Skills, weapon techniques, or other vital tasks.
Then there are items, magic, and combat, which are pretty straight forward like in D&D, except converted over into a D6 system.
There are more rules, but that is the general gist of them. And sorry for my long term absence, I didn't think anyone was using these forums!

Oh, sorry about putting the thread in the wrong forum. So this is supposed to go under the playtesting heading? -- It's spelled "dextrous," I think. ;D -- Well, it seems like people were only actually here for 2 days now, so it wasn't really that long. -- Umm, about the thing that I was calculating in the store, where should I put stuff about that? EDIT: Hmm... now that I have actually re-read forum titles, the skills/abilities/feats section seems to be appropriate...

It is 'dexterous'. I've edited your post to make it correct! ----- I thought making these forums ended up being pointless but I'm glad people are now using them! ----- The races seem fine, and the abilities/secondary abilities are great, but can you explain the D6 system in greater detail please? I do play D&D and I know how it all works so I will pick it up easily, but I'm cofused about that. Cheers, Bolg.

I looked it up and "dextrous" is a viable variant of "dexterous," so... I'm not dumb. (yay!) lol --- I think I'll explain a little more about the skill stuff for you (assuming fenrir doesn't show up before I finish), but I'll put it in the other thread.

Well, the D6 system only came to me because I had too many D6s lying around, so I thought I better put them to good use, and that no other RPG that I know of uses them.
Basically, when rolling your Skills, you roll a bunch of D6s, which I explained in the Abilities, Skills, and Feats forum. A 1, 2, or 3 on the die is a failed roll, a 4 or 5 is a success, and a 6 is two successes.
