Well, the title pretty much explains it all:
Are you looking forward to the newest games Workshop Lord of the Rings supplement?
Personally, I cannot wait the five days until it arrives to my door! The apparent extensive coverage of my favorite time period in Middle-earth history will more than likely inspire me to work double time on our project.
Plus it is an added bonus that I have less than a day and a half to paint a 34 figure Grey Company army for the "Ruin of Arnor" promotional tournament at my hobby store.

Seeing as I don't know what that is, I probably can wait.

Well, I can divulge...
So, in the year T.A.1974-ish, which was almost 1,500 years before the War of the Ring, the Dark Lord Sauron (currently hiding in his necromantic fortress of Dol Guludur) sent his chief captain, the Witch King of Angmar, to bring the realm of Arnor, which was Gondor's sister kingdom, to an end. To make a long story short, he did.
Arnor was decimated and the remaining forces formed the Dunedain rangers, of which Aragorn is a member of.
The tournament at New Frontiers this weekend is just to get the LotR people pumped about this new release (which is pretty book-canon) and hopefully to get some non-LotR players into it. If all goes as planned, we'll have about 7-8 players, all vieing for the number one rank. Personally, I think it may be a contest between Caitlynn (and her Lothlorien wood elf army) and me (with my Dunedain ranger army).

It should be great fun, unless Colin decides to use the new vampire demon figure...if that happens, I think I may be toast!
