Title says it all. Celebrate here!
Although, it is a little misleading. While the book is done, I need to go to a copyright office and get it patened there. That'll be a project for next week.

The question also should be "where were you?" I'm glad you're coming back, because we're now just getting started...
...to put it lightly, The Shadow of the Dog Lord Role Playing Game is going to Gen Con Indy 2007, where over 26,000 gamers will be potentially interested in our game! Four days of gaming bliss!

I've checked in time to time, but never logged in... it didn't look like too many people were active, and I didn't have much to say about the few things that did happen.
Wonderful. Well, I hope that works out well for you. (I'm gonna have to do some google-searching, I'm not familiar with those types of things)

For gen Con, here's the link: www.gencon.com/2006/indyIt's still on 2006, but there is a lot of 07 stuff on there. No Games Workshop "official" events there...blighters won't sponser it, stupid...So I may be running a LotR table(s) along with SotDL. I'd bring Caitlynn's Moria Goblin army, which you haven't seen yet...The Balrog is painted to be purple and pink, and the Goblins are technicolor! I'll post some more stuff tomorrow.

Indeed they are...
And as some news, "Dog Lord Modern" has finally been started, written by someone other than me, and I can safely say this...
IT IS GOOD!
Dark, scary, and foreboding. A lot eviller than the original Dog Lord story, but then again, we're not living in the most civilrous of times, now are we? Many thanks to Colin Manning for saying he'd write it!

"Civilrous," eh? It's like words chivalrous and civil had some sort of mutant child. So, how does the modern game work? or more specifically, how does the system differ from its medieval counterpart? (Obviously the tone is much darker, and modern technology exists. What I'm asking is what kind of structural differences there are between the two.)

New Class system, new weapons, new skills and feats (like Computer Use and Drive). More monsters and all sorts of other things too. I haven't followed up on what he's been writing for a while.

haha nevermind, the skill computer use made me think of somebody roleplaying a hacker... which is mildly amusing to me. ;D

Hmm, ironic, because that was I think an idea for one of the starting Classes...

that's not ironic, it's only coincidental!
What are the classes that you have decided on then?
